What is tufting?
Tufting is a rug-making process where yarn is punched through fabric using a tufting gun to create a handmade rug or textile piece.

 

Do I need experience to take a class?
No experience needed. Beginners are welcome. I guide you step-by-step from design to finish.

What classes do you offer?

How long are the classes?
Most classes are 3–5 hours, depending on the type of workshop.

 

What’s included in the class price?
All materials are included: yarn, fabric, tools, instruction, and finishing. You leave with your own handmade piece.

 

Can I bring my own design?
Sending the image is HIGHLY recommended, as to not take away from your time of learning and tufting. 

 

Are kids allowed?
Classes are age-specific. Teens (12–17) must register for designated teen classes. Adult classes are 18+.

CUSTOM RUG ORDERS

Do you take custom rug orders?
Yes. Custom rugs are available in select sizes and styles. Availability depends on current workload.

 

How do I place a custom order?
Submit a request through the Custom Order Form on the website. I’ll contact you to confirm details and pricing.

 

What sizes do you offer?
Common sizes range from 2ft to 5ft, but custom sizing may be available upon request.

 

How long do custom orders take?
Turnaround time is typically 2–6 weeks, depending on complexity and current orders.

 

Is a deposit required?
Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to begin all custom work.

PICKUP, SHIPPING & CARE

Do you ship rugs?
Yes. Shipping is available for custom rug orders. Shipping costs are calculated separately.

 

Do you offer local pickup?
Yes. Local pickup in Oakland is available by appointment.

 

How do I care for my rug?

  • Vacuum gently (no beater bar)

  • Spot clean with mild soap and water

  • Avoid excessive moisture

  • Indoor use recommended unless specified

What is your cancellation policy?
Class bookings are non-refundable but may be rescheduled with advance notice (48–72 hours depending on event).

 

What if I’m late?
